I'm sold. Sign me up for another year. Rarely, if ever, does one find such insightful global commentary in such a compact, well-reasoned format. I look forward with great anticipation to each new issue of the Privateer. Best wishes and keep up the good work.
Congratulations on an excellent newsletter. I'm a new subscriber to the Privateer and I'm already very impressed with your insight and depth of research. The Privateer stands up well against other international missives. I'll be renewing when my sub expires.
A big thumbs up from this happy reader. I am awed by your insightful and clear-minded interpretation of world political and economic events. And how awesome to finally get some insightful comment on Australian affairs, so often ignored in everything else I read. Sign me up for two years.
"Thank you, Bill, for your many fine efforts! My Privateer subscription is an advanced payment for cutting edge global KNOWLEDGE and worth every depreciating US Dollar."
"Just writing to say I think the Privateer newsletter is superb commentary, Captain.
I'm an Australian who's been living in California for some time now and have found it difficult to get objective, relevant and in-depth news. The mainstream American media is simply incredible. They pay so little attention to important issues. Meanwhile, they devote excessive coverage to the truly trivial and irrelevant stories.
I now get all my information from newsletters such as yours and various web sites run by individuals who aren't influenced by big business or politics and aren't trying (primarily) to be a source of entertainment.
Thanks for doing such a quality job. The information you supply is timely and invaluable. Your presentation of it superb. Keep up the good work."
"I want to thank you for your clear, incisive writings on some very important subjects. I only regret that I didn't subscribe to the Privateer sooner.
After reading your most recent issue, I must say that I was very surprised to find such a stalwart 'American patriot' living as a citizen of Australia. I wish there were more like you here in the U.S. Perhaps someday there will be.
Liberty is the common birthright of all English speaking people (and anyone else who will struggle for it). When it is imperiled, we must stand together to defend it. I very much appreciate your efforts in this direction."
"Congratulations to you and your crew for a job well done in the production of the Privateer Reports.
Your reports contain brevity and clarity of thought of the highly complex and fast moving global financial world. The distillation of an enormous amount of facts with minimal embellishments is greatly appreciated. Your reports give the thinker a measure of guidance in forming sound financial strategies for the protection of one's wealth."
"I have been a subscriber of The Privateer for some five years now and I feel remiss in not telling you lately what an integral part of my life your newsletter is and has been from the beginning. It was love at first reading then and remains so today. I don't believe there has been more than twice in the last 5 years that I haven't read your newsletter the moment it arrived. In fact I await its arrival with great anticipation. My sincerest apologies in not sending a word sooner.
I was inspired to send this e-mail because for the first time in awhile I read the Kudos section of the site. I could easily have been the author of most of those letters. I feel badly because the insight you provide is essential to the preservation of so much that free thinking and freedom loving people hold dear. You deserve to be encouraged and applauded for the work you do.
Bill, I have an educational background in economics (macro), a professional background in high finance, and an insatiable appetite for all things macro-economic, geo-political and historic. I have found your newsletter to be so incredibly powerful at providing the framework within which to understand all of these things.
I have found many wonderful resources along these lines and encountered many wonderful people to help bring clarity in a world where nothing is quite what it seems. However your work serves as one of the primary guiding lights in it all. I could get into the technical side of the discussion in offering these Kudos but I wanted to simply say thank you in a very personal way and let you know how much I sincerely value your commitment to the truth and ability to simplify the issues for your readers.
When it comes time for renewal I never give it a second thought. I regard The Privateer as one of life's essentials."
"Just a note to say thank you before the big rush. Your newsletter has secured my family's future. thanks again."
"I have learned a lot through your objective eyes and words; it is refreshing to read an unbiased global view of what's really going on in our world, especially when the North American media influences what they want people to think. Thanks to your guidance, I have been able to make better and informed investment decisions in the gold market."
"Without doubt your newsletter is the most interesting and informative of any I have read, for which you should be congratulated."

"You produce the best and most honest newsletter that I have yet seen. I am financialy conservative and don't subscribe anywhere because most "news" is propaganda, but I subscribed to your publication immediately upon reading one of the "Free Issues" several months ago. Congratulations! Keep up the brilliant standard."
"Yes, I most certainly will renew. And, you're right, there are plenty of newsletters competing for my attention. I read many and your work continues to be among the best: innovative and penetrating analyses. A valuable tool indeed for the international investor."
"Issue 474 (the late April 2003 issue) was a masterpiece in clarity. Few if any vaunted Harvard MBA's could even come close to your analysis or thought patterns."

"I'm subscribing for two main reasons: I get information from you that I don't see elsewhere (not just opinion, but news), and your writing about the apple orchard and how one starts to feel like he is preparing for a siege several issues ago was the best description of the problems in the system and what I've been feeling that I've read. I found your clear link of the logical and the emotional accurate and useful."
"The last two years have been interesting, leading me down the road of discovery and enlightment. Your newsletter was the key to starting that process. Somewhere along the line I discovered a real joy in understanding monetary and financial issues (must be in the blood). Thanks for starting that process."

"I've been suspicious for a very long time that some things were amiss, but could not put my finger on it. It has taken people like you with a gift of insight and analysis, along with the skills to communicate, to shed light on what is really happening in this very unbalanced world of ours. It must also take balls of solid rock!!!"

"Once more, I am filled with enthusiasm by your work. I don`t know your sources, and I should tell you that I have plenty of my own. Your conclusions, however, are extraordinary in their range and in the complete absence of either fear or any reflection of "special interests".
"I have been reading you for the better part of one year. What really amazes me is that you are way down there and I am way up here, and you have an infinitely closer and more rational insight into what is going on in the US (and the rest of the world for that matter) than about 99.99% of the analysts and pundits whom I read and who are sited right heere in the good old USA."
"I've received the last 4 issues & it's about the best commentary on finance & the world I've ever read. I'm so excited about your publication, I literally can't wait for the next one!"
"If I were limited to receiving just one newsletter, period, it would be yours. Stalking not just the facts, but their implications, The Privateer is an essential survival tool. Thanks so much for your steadiness."
Vic from Colorado
"Your writing is a crisp sharp focused breath of fresh air. In a world whose geo/political/economic atmosphere is a smog far worse than LA ever was, I need it every two weeks in order to breathe deep and free."
"Thank you for the work you've done. I believe that remembering history and understanding human nature are essential in successful investing and/or preserving capital. Your newsletter covers your these two topics beautifully.
