You and your team always do such a great job with The Privateer, but this last issue (the Mid December 2010 issue - Number 668) is even better than usual - fantastic really. I will be reading lines from it to friends for weeks.

For what it's worth, I like you to know that even though I'm an old man now, discovering The Privateer less than a year ago has been a highlight of my life - a rare victory of reality over appearances. Your letter fills a real need for anyone who cares to see the economic world as it really is. I thank you heartily.
Just finished your Mid December Issue Number 644. Many thanks for a great year of information and strategic insight. Thank God there are still a few people in the world like you who do understand what in the hell is going on. Information has become the real financial Power in the world. Trouble is today that most of what is available is clueless, highly suspect and misleading. Your clarity, conciseness and opinions are a highly welcome change. Keep up the great work. The world is in need of the truth.
One of the wonderful things which is unique in my experience is that you are able to stand back and offer a wider perspective which no other analyst or commentator quite matches. I greatly appreciate the wisdom you offer through The Privateer.
I always wait anxiously for the next issue of The Privateer it is always excellent. Number 637 (Early September 2009) is the best one I have read. I really liked the references of Power and Freedom. You are a gifted writer and I want to thank you.
I use your newsletter to patch together all that is happening in these crazy times. I see it as the two highlights of every month. With so much happening so quickly in these historic times you put it all together in a concise and intelligent manner. Very easy for the layman investor to get an honest picture of what is happening globally. I have taken action on your advice and sleep much better since.
As a new subscriber, I was interested to see the commentary that influenced the writer of "A Special Letter". Just like the letter writer, I too would like to be ahead of the curve in 2012 with a degree of economic freedom in retirement. Your publication is 'light years' ahead of the crowd offering a grounding in fundamental economics and a platform of knowledge from which to build a plan for financial survival. Thanks for an injection of calming common sense supported by facts at a time of emotional reactivity (fear) precipitated by an historically significant monetary crisis.
