I want to thank you Mr Buckler.
I want to thank you for the terrific understanding of macroeconomics and its application to present day economic topics that you have imparted to me. I realized in the last few months that I have a grasp of economic principles that not only allows me to make immensely informed choices regarding use of my savings and my work but allows me to critique articles in financial newspapers as I read them.
Your newsletters have allowed me a calmness and assurance regarding the economic future that I don't see in any one (save the person who recommended your newsletter to me). I literally go to bed every single night not worried about my savings.
When I subscribed to your newsletter I had no inkling that I would get an education. I subscribed because I observed that what you said accurately described financial events that followed - and your letters were interesting in their details that I never read in financial newspapers. Three and a half years ago I was just a dentist. Now I'm a dentist WITH a hell of an understanding of what is going on economically - and why - compared to my equally intelligent and educated friends.
I actually find that if the subject gets onto the economy, I usually have to keep my mouth shut at social events. If I start quoting facts and explanations from your newsletter, my depth of knowledge is immediately apparent, tends to run counter to what is being expostulated and leaves people looking at me thinking, 'Who the hell is THIS guy? Where did he come up with this stuff?'
You have done a wonderful job of educating me, a layman. Not only have I learned a TON but you always kept me intensely interested. A good teacher makes the subject understandable, interesting and timely. You do that well Mr Buckler.
Bravo and Thank you!
